Rasika has worked for over 15 years across the government, NGO, university and development sectors on policy issues at the intersection of migration, human rights law and international development. This includes as a Senior Policy Officer at the Department of Premier and Cabinet (Victoria), in the Labour Migration Program at IOM Sri Lanka, and in migration and refugee policy at the Victorian Foundation for Survivors of Torture and the Brotherhood of St Laurence. She holds a PhD from Melbourne Law School and currently works in UNICEF’s global migration team, seconded to the UN Network on Migration in Geneva.
